AI Integration & .NET Modernisation

We modernise enterprise systems and make them intelligent.

Every .NET version since 1.1 in 2003. Still shipping on .NET 10.

Architected and led personally, every engagement. We build new systems, bring old ones forward, and wire AI into both.

Where does your estate actually stand?

Forty-five minutes on your system, then a short written summary: which .NET version you are on, whether it is still supported, the two or three biggest risks, and whether modernising is worth doing yet.

  • 45 minutes, with Anil, no obligation
  • Written summary afterwards, yours to keep

Most AI Initiatives Don't Stall Because of the Models

They stall because the system they need to plug into was designed years before any of this existed. The model works. The integration is where the project dies — and that is a legacy problem, not an AI one.

Where the pilots actually die

There is no API to call. Authentication predates OAuth. The data the model needs is spread across a schema nobody documented and a reporting database that is refreshed overnight. The demo worked against a spreadsheet, and the production system is not a spreadsheet.

Why we are an odd fit for it, in a useful way

Working with .NET continuously since its first release — .NET 1.1 in 2003 — through to .NET 10 today. The firms that are fluent in current AI tooling are rarely the ones who have spent two decades inside the kind of .NET estate it has to attach to. Doing both is the whole proposition.

Why Clients Stay

We Don't Publish a Retention Percentage

You would be right to discount one — and we would rather not publish a figure we could not evidence if you asked. Here are two engagements instead, and you are welcome to ask for a reference on either.

A UN counter-terrorism programme, supported across successive rounds of member-state onboarding.

A UK retail and hospitality client supported across multiple systems over several years.

Clients keep us because we're the ones who know why the system works the way it does.

About Us

About Softwiz

Built on 20+ years of .NET expertise, we build greenfield .NET products and maintain, modernize, and future-proof legacy systems, guided by a founder's journey from .NET Framework 1.1 to .NET 10.

Our Mission

To build new .NET products on .NET 8/10 for ambitious teams and to give pre-2012 .NET applications the expert maintenance and modernization they deserve, without disrupting the business they support.

Our Vision

A world where organizations can build new .NET products with confidence and treat existing systems as assets, not liabilities, working with specialists who span greenfield architecture and nearly two decades of legacy .NET.

Anil's .NET Journey: Every Era, First-Hand

Softwiz Infotech was founded in 2021. The timeline below is founder Anil Channa's own experience, from .NET 1.1 in 2003 to .NET 10 and AI today, the depth the company was built on.

.NET 1.1–2.02003–2005

Console & WinForms

C# 1.0, WinForms desktop apps, ADO.NET data access, and his first enterprise Windows applications.

.NET 3.0–3.52006–2009

WCF & WebForms

ASP.NET WebForms, WCF services, LINQ, Entity Framework, and complex enterprise web portals.

.NET 4.0–4.52010–2014

MVC & Web API

ASP.NET MVC, async/await, Web API, Parallel Framework, and the shift to RESTful architectures.

.NET 4.6–4.8 + Core2015–2019

Framework Maturity

.NET Core cross-platform revolution, Blazor, gRPC, and large-scale enterprise microservices.

.NET 5–102020–2025

Modern .NET

Unified platform, Minimal APIs, Native AOT, cloud-native containers, and cross-platform excellence.

.NET 10 + AI2026–Today

The AI Era

Python AI services — LangGraph agents, open-weight models, computer vision — wired into new .NET 10 builds and legacy apps alike.

Services

Engineering that moves
businesses forward.

14 specialist services, from wiring AI into systems already in production, to building, maintaining and modernising the .NET underneath them.

The foundation underneath

Build, maintain and modernise the .NET it all runs on

Working with .NET continuously since its first release — .NET 1.1 in 2003 — through to .NET 10 today. Most AI work only becomes possible once this part is in order.

Not sure which of these you need?

Most people arrive knowing something is wrong rather than knowing which service fixes it. Start with the free diagnostic, or go straight to the assessment if you already know the estate is the problem — the AI work is usually the step after that one, not before it.

Portfolio

Systems that carry real weight.

Quote-to-cash billing for a UK B2B services company. Rostering and labour cost across a multi-venue hospitality group. A coaching platform running in production in Vietnam. Current builds, on .NET and React.

References, Not Testimonials

We do not publish client quotations. Most of our work sits under NDA, and a testimonial you cannot verify is worth very little to you anyway. What we will do instead is arrange a direct conversation with someone who has worked with us, so you can ask the awkward questions without us in the room.

AI in Regulated Systems: The Audit Trail Comes First

Every financial services firm we speak to in 2026 has an AI initiative somewhere on the roadmap. Most of them are technically feasible. A meaningful number are quietly undeployable, not because the model performs badly, but because nobody worked out how the firm would explain a single decision to a regulator eighteen months after it […]

Clean Architecture in .NET: Where It Earns Its Complexity

Clean architecture has become close to a default recommendation for new .NET projects, and for good reason: separating domain logic from infrastructure concerns makes a codebase easier to test and easier to change later. It also adds real ceremony: more projects, more interfaces, more indirection between a request coming in and a database row being […]

WebForms to Blazor: A Realistic Migration Path, Not a Rewrite

WebForms applications have a reputation problem. They are old, the tooling around them has quietly stopped improving, and every conference talk assumes you have already left. None of that changes the fact that a lot of WebForms applications are still running real logistics and operations businesses today, reliably, and a full rewrite is rarely the […]
